The Colony Palms Hotel and Bungalows

I must say!! This place is amazing. I truly appreciate the great service I experienced with the staff. I have celebrated my birthday here twice and will continue to stay here. Deanna was the absolute so best!!! Made sure me and all my guest felt comfortable and made special accommodations for us. Bianca from the Restaurant- she was amazing. There was 16 of us and made sure we were all taking care of. Made sure we all had drinks and made sure we were all good. With her bubbly personality made us feel so welcomed and special. We recently visited The Colony Palms for a short weekend trip. Overall it was a good experience. The service is what really stands out and sets this hotel apart from other options in the area. The staff was incredibly responsive, friendly and had great attention to detail. The center courtyard has a beautiful pool and patio area with pool side service that's comfortable and feels secluded but could use a little more space between chaises. The on site restaurant has a great cocktail selection. The food is fairly typical California poolside hotel cuisine but very well executed. Location is conveniently close to downtown so it's easy to walk to near by restaurants as well. The only real let down here was the room itself. It's small and very dark I understand the dimly lit environment is an aesthetic choice but it would be nice to have the option for a bit more light at times. The main bedroom and living area was well maintained but the bathroom looked a bit run down and there was just a general sense of mustiness. Overall the room was just fine. Admittedly there are likely better room choices but it just felt like a let down compared to everything else including the price. I would definitely visit the Colony Palms again and it was a good experience but not my first choice for a visit to Palm Springs.

Everything was picture perfect. From the views, to the service, to the atmosphere. I could've stayed there forever. The food and drinks at the restaurant were all delicious. Love their emphasis on healthier choices/farm to table. Every view from the property was just gorgeous, couldn't help but feel relaxed and at a peace.

I had the most incredible stay at The Colony Palms! From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcome and cared for. Shout out to Cristen for helping us upgrade our suite and greeting us with a big smile and good energy. The hotel itself is stunning—charming, stylish, and full of character, with that classic Palm Springs vibe. My room was spotless, beautifully decorated, and the bed was unbelievably comfortable. The pool area was absolutely gorgeous and felt like a true desert oasis, the perfect spot to relax and unwind. The food and cocktails were top-notch, and the entire atmosphere was both relaxing and luxurious. Every detail was thoughtfully done, making my stay unforgettable. I can’t wait to come back—The Colony Palms is a true gem!" I highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a blend of comfort, quality, and outstanding hospitality.

We wanted to go on a short weekend trip and chose this hotel. The room was good and the window faced the street. We were missing the second layer of our curtain and asked for a thin sheet. Instead we came back to it pinene to the wall. The grounds are pretty. The pool is smaller than others but good service. It was good. Not sure if go back to this exact hotel though.

An intimate and relaxing hotel with beautiful decor and a top notch poolside restaurant. Outstanding service and a very dog friendly. It’s the best place to stay in Palm Springs as far as we are concerned.

The hotel has a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff are very kind and attentive, and the place is simply beautiful — it makes you fall in love with it from the very first moment.

Wonderful one-night stay! Experience started off great with the friendly Deanna at the front desk. We booked through Chase’s “The Edit,” and she thoroughly explained our hotel credits and presented some delicious macarons and sparkling wine. We showed before noon and she still got us straight into our room after upgrading us to a Bungalow. The greenery is breathtaking throughout the courtyard, including their blooming birds of paradise! The Le Labo amenities are a wonderful touch. Very cute aesthetic, feeling nostalgic rather than dated. Great water pressure. Only mild disappointment were the bath towels, nice size but rough and not terribly absorbent. Despite being so near the pool and outdoor walkways, we never noticed any noise or neighbors. Poolside service was attentive and friendly, without being disruptive. Food was delicious as was the dinner service. Bar and wait staff were top-notch, especially Lisette. All in all, the quiet and relaxing day we needed after a jam-packed Palm Springs pride weekend.
